Many movies, books, comic books, and other forms of media have been displaying and showing that the near future would be a world where robots would be the ones to control our world. It would be a world where robots would be just equals with humans. And this kind of foresight has been seen not only in a couple of years ago but it has been around for decades already.
Just think about it, it would be like having those huge robots working on your Audi auto parts or your Mitsubishi OEM parts. And when you do get to your auto service shop, robots would be the ones to make sure that everything is working out right with your vehicle.
Now, you see, it looks like the future is already here. It may not be as bleak and as dreary as you may have imagined the future to be but it is most certain that the future is finally here. Take a look all around you. These robots may not be those huge things with their own minds to do their own decisions but machines already abound and they are just like robots in themselves.
At present, there has recently been a grand event where an organization in the automotive world has exhibited just what it would be to have robots working in the manufacturing of automotive parts and pieces. The whole event was a limited affair for there were only a couple of tickets that were sold. But each one would have cost you a less of $25 on your wallet or pocket. But this price already does give you the chance to be at the event which would be held for two days and wherein you can find some sixty four exhibits that show off the cutting edge type of technology on automotive manufacturing.
The whole thing was sponsored by the Automated Imaging Association (AIA) as well as the Robotic Industries Association (RIA). Held last October 17th in Metro Detroit, the exhibit also had a workshop included in the list of activities. The whole affair held a theme that said, "Vision and Robots for Automotive Manufacturing". It was held at the Novi Sheraton which can be found on the Eight Mile Road in the mentioned locality.
Jeffrey A. Burnstein is the current executive director of the AIA, and he does share, "There has been so much demand to attend this workshop that we have had to get creative to accommodate everyone. We expect more than 200 industry participants." He does even add, "Our speakers have proven and practical experience. This workshop addresses important competitive issues for any company trying to success in today's tough automotive market. The exhibits are for serious professionals who want to see and compare the best of the best so they can make informed decisions about technology solutions for their production needs."
