Talking with friends or other passengers is one top driving distraction and it is very applicable especially to younger drivers. This is because many drivers do tend to focus more on the topic at hand than on the road ahead.
The use of your mobile phone is also a driving distraction. And experts do say that it does not matter if you are using a headset, a hands-free set or using one of your hands to fidget with your gadget. Of course, sending SMS messages applies, too. One grand piece of advice would be to keep that mobile phone away and check on it when you are already safely parked.
Your radio is also a distraction. Of course we do know that playing your favorite songs while doing your driving could help you be relaxed during your travel, did you know that when you do take that couple of seconds to change your CD, you are actually endangering yourself and your passengers? Yes, experts suggest that it is better off for you to tune in to a radio station instead of playing a CD.
