Two fantastic Dodge cars is set to be unleashed; one in June and the other one before the end of May.
One Dodge car will appear in theaters all over the country as 20th Century Fox releases the film Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer” on June 15.
In the story, the Fantastic Four has not yet met their most extreme challenge. But a mystic foreshadower – the Silver Surfer - from the outer space comes to destruct the Earth.
The Dodge vehicle that is featured in the Fantastic Four movie is aptly named the “Fantasticar,” for it has the speed of up to 550 mph and 30,000 feet for its altitude. This fantastic car can assort into three different sections and each one has removable wings and can do the same speed and performance as the entire vehicle can do. And because it is fantastic, we can assume that it comes along with a HEMI and a super advanced Dodge computer chip.
Among the Dodge exclusive designs that are seen in the “fantastic car” are the signature crosshair grille of the brand with red ram’s head logo on the seat headrests. Of course, Dodge brand is proud of their being selected as the “fantastic car” and this honor is seen through the Dodge name on the front and rear fascias.
Michael Curmi, the Senior Manager – Entertainment Marketing, Chrysler Group, said they immediately grabbed the opportunity to be acquainted with a cultural icon like the “fantastic car” because they do not come around very often. He further said that Dodge is a great American car brand that is teaming up with a great team of American superheroes. As for him, the Fantastic Four and Dodge both have amazing heritage that appeal to people around all over the world. He added that it is but natural for the two teams to partner on this new Fantastic Four movie that also features the premier of the ultimate superheroes’ vehicle.
Meanwhile, on May 27, another limited edition Dodge vehicle will be unleashed. This is the No. 19 Fantastic Car Dodge Charger of Elliott Sadler at the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series’ Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.
The vehicle will come with a striking paint that exudes a somewhat similar feature as the car used in “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer”. Flames will explode over the nose and up the fenders of the Fantastic Car. A Fantastic Four logo will also be featured on both rear quarter panels.
Mike Accavitti, the Director of Dodge Brand and SRT Marketing and Communications said the No. 19 Fantastic Car Dodge Charger is a great fresh look for Elliott’s car, and they are anticipating that the performance of this race car will be comparable the Fantastic Car that is featured in the movie.
He added that Dodge’s overall marketing strategy ahs an integrated motor sports program, and through the Fantastic Car Dodge Charger, they are able to yield more awareness and interest with the general consumers and NASCAR fans as well.
The toy Dodge Fantastic Car by Hasbro, the inclusion of the Dodge Fantastic Car in the Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer video game, and the in-theater and national television promotions are other elements of the Dodge partnership with 20th Century Fox and its associates.
The Dodge Ram Mega Cab and Durango are the other vehicles, aside from the Fantastic Car, that will be getting screen appearance in the movie “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer”.
The Senior Manager for Dodge Brand Communications in Chrysler Group by the name of Mark Spencer said that the Dodge brand is always looking forward to fresh bold design directions. He said with this aim, it is really inspiring and fascinating to see the Dodge brand’s signature crosshair grille and Ram’s head logo on the Fantastic Car as a completely futuristic vehicle. He hopes that people all over the world will have fun while watching the Fantastic Car because Dodge Marketing is also promoting an intergalactic type of vehicle.
