Peugeot 207 S2000
After announcing its retreat from the WRC, Peugeot turned and swiftly concentrated on crafting a decent career in the new S-WRC category by tuning the Peugeot 207 S2000 as a main project to creating one of the most efficient and effective S2000 cars. Note that Peugeot S2000 rally cars were able to claim the 2007 IRC and 2008 IRC titles as well as the 2008 ERC title.
Toyota Corolla S2000
Toyota is mainly the oldest among the S2000 rally cars; the car was 1st introduced during the South Africa rallies before reaching the European Rally championship along RED Motorsports but with no successful results to mention. As of the end of 2007, Grifone Racing took the task of re-engineering and re- tuning S2000 Toyotas hoping that the Toyota Corolla S2000 will become as efficient as its contenders in the same S-WRC category starting 2011 S-WRC.
Toyota Auris S2000
Auris S2000 is the Australian version of the South African Toyota S2000 rally cars. The Toyota S2000 specs are almost the same in both cars knowing that the Toyota Auris is currently running and racing in the Australian and African continents, mainly in South Africa.
VW Polo S2000
The S2000 cars of VW demonstrated a major success while tackling the South Africa rallies before being inducted into the Europe Rally championship by René the Georges at the end of the 2006 rally season; despite making a late arrival into Europe rallies, the VW S2000 achieved high ranking spots into the Rallies standings such as a 2nd position in the 2007 Spanish Rally championship, hosted on tarmac roads.
MG S2000
After being purchased by the Chinese Giant manufacturer, Nanjing Motors, MG decided to tackle its cars marketing strategy through taking part in the motorsport and racing rallies, under the S2000 category. The MG S2000 cars experienced the majority of their endurance, power and stability in UK; note that the MG 2008 S2000 IRC season ran too close to coming true but the Anglo-Chinese manufacturer was unable to take part of the IRC, mainly the 1st competitor of the WRC.
Skoda Fabia S2000
The Skoda Fabia S2000 cars are the last S2000 cars to announce their participation in rallies and racing events; Skoda Fabia tackled their 1st rallies under the S2000 category during the 2008 motorsport season, immediately consequent to the FIA Homologation of S2000 cars, which will be named as S-WRC in 2010 and 2011.
The Ford Fiesta S2000 cars, crafted by the M-Sport S2000 tuning experts and by Ford's primary rally team, the Fiesta S2000 is expected to be the main S-WRC car for Ford World Rally team in the WRC. The Ford Fiesta is currently tackling several international rally championships all around the world not to mention the prime racing potential in the IRC and in the S2000 World Cup. The Ford S2000 was homologated consequent to the FIA new rules that were put into action in January 2010.
Ford Fiesta S2000 MK5
Ford Fiesta S2000 cars were expected to be one of the best rally cars ever during the upcoming motorsport seasons; with WRC Calendar 2010 and 2011 WRC Calendar were set to introduce the new S-WRC cars (s2000 cars), Ford had already started to test its Fiesta S2000 tuning and toning since 2007. Based on 2 Fiesta S1600 chassis, the Ford Fiesta S.2000 MK5 was built to be conform with the new FIA Rules to tackle the S-WRC 2011 as well as previous WRC seasons such as WRC 2009 and WRC 2010 under the S2000 category. Consequent to a series of bad results, the Fiesta S2000 MK5 project was halted.
Proton Satria Neo S2000
Proton is a well known brand all along Asia and UK. Some years ago collected good results at PWRC with his cars and now wants to promote them again in rallying. Developed at England, the Satria Neo has got an agressive design and his main driver on 2009 will be Alistair Mcrae, probably on the APRC
Opel Corsa OPC S2000
The Opel Corsa S2000 cars are ones of the various rally cars built on MSD installations within the United Kingdom. Opel Corsa S2000 were homologated by the FIA on the 1st of October 2008 which made it an official racing car that was able to tackle the and compete in the 2009 IRC Championship.
