Consumer Guide Award Goes to Jaguar Xk

The outstanding car from Jaguar called the XK received the Recommended 2007 Award by Consumer Guide® Automotive in the premium sporty/performance car category. Said award is given by the company annually. It highlights striking vehicle values in 17 segments. These values include performance, features, accommodation, and the price of the vehicle.

"The Jaguar XK has received tremendous acclaim around the world from our customers and media alike. However, we are especially delighted to get this recognition from Consumer Guide® Automotive," said Mike O'Driscoll, president of Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover.

Consumer Guide® Automotive is considered as an authority source in the auto industry. The editors choosing the cream-of-the-crop cars for each category are well-respected and recognized in the business.

In the competition, 2007 Jaguar XK proved its worth as the most technologically advanced car that its maker has yet manufactured. XK outshone its rivals in the mentioned category by delivering its outstanding precision handling, bracing speed, and unequaled excitement. These are the features that made XK an award-winning car.

Jaguar XK Series composed of the XK and the XKR), is a grandtourer that was introduced by the automaker for the 1997 model year. XJ is available in coupe and convertible. Said car is produced to replace the XJS. The 2007 XK Coupe is priced at $75,500 while the Convertible's MSRP is $81,500.

The current version of the convertible, which belongs to the second generation of XK, was introduced at the 2006 North American International Auto Show. The most fascinating feature of the car is its cloth top operates in a matter of 18 seconds. Also, in the second generation of XK is its XK8 version that utilizes upgraded Jaguar XK car parts accessories that include AJ-V8 engine.

Jaguar XK parts make the car lightweight, sophisticated high-performance and sporty. The automaker has also produced a concept car dubbed as XKR-R. The latter is very identical to the production of XKR nonetheless; it uses a more powerful engine to deliver a domineering performance and handling. XKR Jaguar parts are enhanced to effectuate a groundbreaking car that perfectly balances style, charisma, comfort, ergonomics, and drive feel.
