How to Create Nanny Needed Ads

Posted: May 27, 2010 |Comments: 0 |

So you want to create a nanny needed ad, but not sure what to put in there. If you want the best nanny for your family, it's important to first know exactly what you require.

Types Of Nannies

Before you put up a nanny needed ad, first know what types of nannies are available. For instance, would you like to hire younger or more mature nannies? Oftentimes, more mature nannies are more experienced and will therefore charge more. Younger nannies are usually single, young and are searching for work as a nanny for the next 2 years, probably to pay for college or their prospective training. The advantages of hiring younger nannies is that they are usually more open to working with all kinds of individuals and often charge much less.

More mature nannies, on the other hand, and more experienced and usually charge more. The younger your children are, the older and more experienced your nanny should be. You wouldn't want to have a 13 year old to watch over your 8-month-old baby.

Finally, you have the experts. These nannies have decided to make their job a full-time career. They often have gone through extensive educational programs and a training certificate in nanny specialized fields.

Live In Or Live Out?

Now you have to consider how often you want your nanny to go to your home. For parents with work hours that are not fixed or very demanding job schedules, then putting up a nanny needed ad to hire a live in nanny would be your best bet. However, having a live in nanny calls for more than just providing a private bedroom and bathroom accessible in your home. You need to first tour your new nanny in your home and even around the neighborhood. You should also provide some form of entertainment and other accommodations such as snacks. Enable her to establish rapport with your kids. With all these considerations in mind, you'll now know exactly what to specify in your ad.
