One of the most important things is to make sure that you breastfeed your baby properly. According to a research by the University of New York, it has been documented that babies who get breastfed for at least 6 to 8 months, turn out to be healthier and happier adults. As you can surmise, this is an important concept since it shows that you have important responsibilities as a mother toward your baby. Hence, you should make every effort that is possible to properly breastfeed your child in the best way that you can. Although it comes as natural to breastfeed your child, there are still some techniques that you need to use to make sure that you get the proper form. Here are some tips for various breastfeeding positions for you and your baby.

1)      First of all make sure that you get comfortable before starting to breastfeed your baby. If you sit in an uncomfortable position, chances are that you will make your baby uncomfortable too.

2)      Make sure that you lay back easily, but that your back is straight as a mother.

3)      Your baby must have his or head and body in a straight line. If your baby is not in a straight line, then your baby may not be able to swallow properly
