Let us define a daughter

Daughter is also a woman, but here I shall talk of daughter and daughter only. The parents who have daughters have got their own difficulties. they are to find out a boy as a match for their daughter and at the same time they are to judge those people who are the parents of the boy, sisters of the boys, brothers of the boy and the house where she shall live for the remaining part of her life. they know that a daughter once she leaves the house of her parents as a bride, she shall go to the house of her in laws and from that date she shall become a stranger in the house of her parents where she had spent the earlier part of her life, where she had been brought up, where she had been given proper education, proper training and proper adjustment in life.
The daughter shall go to the house of her in laws and she may be visiting her parents off and on. But the parents shall be having a look on her face to read whether she is happy with this new life or she has got so many complaints with her which have made her life a Hell in that house. the parents of a girl are always under an impression that she is not happy with the house where she had been sent and therefore, as and when they receive a telephone call, a letter, a message or she herself comes to the house, they are eager to listen what she shall tell to them. So lucky are the parents who hear good news from the mouth of the daughter and unlucky are those who do not listen happy news from the mouth of their daughter.
In most of the countries they have adopted a way of life where daughters do not get a share in the properties, but they are given dowry and if dowry items are not accepted to the husband and others in that house, they shall be creating so many troubles for her. We are reading in news papers that sometime the people in the house of her in laws kill her so that they could have another wife for their son and she shall be bringing additional dowry items for them and sometime they create such types of circumstances for her that she shall commit suicide. In spite of laws on the subject, such news are still being published in news papers.
Time has come when the people are trying to settle their daughters at work so that they could become earning hands and may not be dependant upon the in laws. they feel that the daughter should not be helpless when the people in the house of her in laws are not accepting her. she may separate or she may compel her husband to separate and start a new life with a new house. And this type of girls are not being harassed by the in laws.
There were times when the girls were sent to the house of their in laws early but those days are gone and now the parents send their daughters only after they are on their own feet and in most of the cases, they go to the house of their in laws when they have completed 24-25years and such daughters do not accept any torture from the hands of their in laws. they would not accept subordination and slavery and therefore, the people who are bringing a bride at their house must understand the psychology of these new women and must accept them as guests in the house, they must be honoured, they must be given due place in the house, they should not be taken as domestic servants and they must be allowed to live here as their real daughter and only then the house shall be happy and if not, there are chances that this new girl may create so many problems for the house and even criminal and civil proceedings could come and create so many troubles for the family.
The parents of the daughter in law must be given due respect and we should not talk ill of them. Only then these new women in the house shall become members of the house and the parents of girls are preparing their daughters in such a way that they are creating suitable situations as per their own desire and the people in the house of their in laws are compelled to accept all these new challenges.
The society has changed and therefore, we shall have to prepare our girl child in such a way that she may meet all challenges and should not bring complaints to the parents because she knows that the parents are not in a mood to listen such complaints which they are not in a position to solve.
