“Celebrate Every Day” is the slogan I decided on for my company, LifeMemoriesDVD.com. In addition to memorial photo shows, we create shows for birthdays, graduations, anniversaries - and recently we’ve developed a Baby Announcement DVD.
The birth announcement contains all the information normally conveyed in a paper card (name, date of birth, weight, etc.) but is accompanied by what people really want to see most - pictures! Sweet music, titles and captions, baby graphics, make people feel they are right there to share this special time with you. The cover of the DVD case is a high-quality photo of your new arrival, and a professional printed label is on each disk.
If you have a program on you computer like MovieMaker, you can do this for yourself or a friend. It's pretty easy if you're comfortable learning new programs. Open the program and import music you own. Drag it into the timeline and then import and place photos (I recommend a few before birth of the parents-to-be as well as new baby photos). Be sure to add titles and put the vital information into the show (full name, birth date and time, etc.).
If you don't feel up to a project like this, we are a small family business who will create a beautiful custom announcement DVD for you. It is our belief that cost should not hold anyone back from beautifully preserving wonderful memories and sharing them with people across the miles.
