Some babies are really easy to take care and some can be very difficult to handle. There are times when your baby just cries for hours, non stop. It is really tough to listen to a non stop crying baby. A baby communicates by crying. When he cries, he is telling you something. Sometimes you know exactly what he wants and sometime you just don't know what to do. Why baby cries? 1. He is hungry 2. He is wet 3. He wants to sleep 4. He needs a change in position 5. He needs attention 6. He is not feeling well (flu, fever, etc) What happen if you are very sure your baby is fine but still crying? What should you do? Well, you have to accept the fact that some babies just cry for no reason. I know because my third child was like that before. He cried for twelve hours a day, for a period of three months. I brought him to see doctor but the doctor confirmed he was healthy. This is my suggestions & recommendations: 1. Take a deep breath every time you feel depress. Learn to relax and be patient. You are not the only parent in this world. Try to listen to soft music. 2. Ask for help from your spouse or from any of your family member. In this situation you must get help. If you don't, you can get sick easily. 3. Sleep when your baby sleeps. There must be a time your baby will fall asleep, usually when he gets too tired. Take this opportunity to sleep as well even if it is only for one or two hours. I know this is not going to be easy in the beginning but with practice you should be able to adjust your self. If you feel that you really cannot cope with your crying baby, my advice is to take a longer break. One or two days will be good. Ask your spouse or loved one to handle him while you are away. Make sure you stay away from home. Go and see doctor, get some supplements or vitamins. Don't take this for granted.
