All-stars Game: East Wins Over West - 134 to 128

Three Ray Allen's free shots in the last eight seconds of the game and a superior action of LeBron James, who had the possibility of the "triple-double", were the factors that carried the East Conference to win the NBA All-Stars game 134 to 128.

This was the third occasion in the last four All-Stars events in which the East representative team remains victorious in this half season NBA game since the 2005 games as well as in 2006.

Thanks to his great performance, the Cavaliers' player, LeBron James was chosen by the fans around the world, voting via Internet, as well as by the American press as the Most Valuable Player of the game. James finished the game with 27 points, trapped eight repercussions, had nine assistances, blocked two shots and stole two balls.

This is the second occasion in his career that James wins this merit, he previously won in the 2006 All-Stars game in Houston scoring 29 points in the East Conference victory 122-120.

The game developed smoothly but it was clear the superiority of the East Conference by taking the advantage since the start a partial of 6-0, thanks to annotations of Dwayne Wade, Dwight Howard and Chris Bosh. The game continued and the East managed to expand more their advantage in the scoreboard, which the host team failed to reach.

During the second half the West’s efforts turned out to be useless, as the visitors maintained the attacks on their opponents with the following score (64-75).

During the third quarter the presence of Chris Paul, who plays with the New Orleans team, helped the Western Conference to shorten the disadvantage with a partial 93-98. But in the closing the visitors pressed again and managed to open again the difference to a double-digit figure: 13 units (106-93).

Allen gave additional advantage to the East with a triple then James gave again the advantage to the East team after doing a great defensive move, intercepted a pair of Nowitzki and went to the rival hoops for, with an spectacular shot for his team quite close to the end of the game. Then again the East won over the West in a thrilling game.
