His dilemma wasn't muscle or quickness. He was quick as any person. His dilemma was form. He just needed to learn to jump higher. I took Bailey to the gym and introduced him to a lieutenant who had played ball at Duke. The lieutenant worked with Bailey for just a while and after only one hour Bailey was slamming two hand dunks! You see, Bailey had the energy and quickness, he just didn't possess the form for a vertical jump.

Now, you're most likely not planning to get that sort of increase by enhancing 1 point of your jumps. That's the point.
