If you play high school basketball and are looking at ways to raise money you should consider selling basketball shaped fundraising lollipops.
These great tasting lollipops are a natural for high school basketball teams or basketball booster clubs wanting to raise money for basketball teams.
The lollipops are shaped just like little basketballs so they are a natural impluse sale item. The lollipops sell for just $.50 so they are extremely affordable. In fact you will find many people who attend your games will buy more than one lollipop. The kids will especially love them.
Unlike a lot of other products that sports teams sell, these basketball shaped lollipops are relevant to your group. You can even purchase lollipops in your team colors if you would like. We would suggest, though, that you purchase cases of lollipops in the assortment of flavors they are typically packaged in. If you choose a particular color scheme you might end up with flavors that some people might not like. If you offer the full assortment there will likely be something in there for everyone.
The great thing about fundraising lollipops is that you can purchase one case at a time. That means you can do a test sale and see how well they sell. If the lollipops do well you can purchase more and make it part of every game.
Of course lollipop fundraising is a great way to raise money but it is not a fast, high dollar fundraiser. It should be considered a good way to raise money weekly throughout the season.
