Our Nano-based Shower Glass Protector helps to make glass resistant to lime scale and other staining

1. What is Nanotechnology

Nanotechnology refers to a field of applied science whose theme is the control of matter on an atomic and molecular scale. Generally nanotechnology is approximately 100 nanometers or smaller and involves developing materials or devices within that size. One nanometer (nm) is one billionth, or 10-9 of a meter. To put that scale in context, the comparative size of a nanometer to a meter is the same as that of a football to the size of the earth. Or another way of putting it: A nano particle is really, really small. And Nanoparticles can help to protect surfaces in a better way.

2. Hydrophobic nanotechnology protect surfaces better

Moisture and warmth are the main causes of almost all damages in bathroom materials, like glass, ceramics and chrome. Preventing water ingress into the structure of the surface can eliminate or substantualy downsize the risk of damages to the bathroom caused by moisture. We call this THE LOTUS EFFECT.

3. New: Nano Surface Protect

Conventional protectors prevent water ingress but simultaneously seal off the pores blocking water within. They are much less resistant to UV radiation or scratches what allows water to penetrate again. Protectors with NANOSURFACEPROTEC prevent moisture to enter the surface. The water repellent nano-particles of our new NANOSURFACEPROTEC are much, much smaller than the pores of the surface. Due to this and the low viscosity, they penetrate deep into the material and chemically bond to the inner pore walls, thus making the surface hydrophobic. External water is kept from entering the pores, while water vapor generated from within the structure can still escape. The structure of the surface remains breathable.

NANOSURFACEPROTEC water-repellent products create long-lasting protection from negative environmental effects such as:

- Humidity

- Corrosion

- Heat

- Scratch damages

NANOSURFACEPROTEC was designed to combat these problems, not only increasing the longevity of treated surfaces, but also lower the cleaning frequency.

5. How does it work?

The Nanoparticles work in a 3 step process:

1. The liquid is applied to the surface

2. The Nanoparticles organise & arrange themselves. They bond to the surface

& fill up the pores.

and start doing their job: to protect.

Using nanotechnology the same technology used by shower door manufactures  you can now protect our own shower doors or glass and save 100's of  ££££'s

Many retailers seem to forget about how they got to where they are now, yes its taken time, money and effort but without the customers the business will not survive. The most successful companies build on their customer base and use them to the full. How fantastic to hear the words a friend sent me in, or, you supplied my next door neighbor, you straight the way can imagine writing the order and taking the deposit.

Recently I spoke to Daniel Warner who has started a new business in Hertfordshire, UKborn from his dad's passion of Lambretta scooters Daniel said "As Lambretta scooter owners, we couldn't understand why there wasn't an official Lambretta scooter helmet on the market. They decided to see if we could obtain the exclusive rights to design, manufacture & sell such a product and in July of this year we landed our first four official Lambretta TM scooter helmets" http://pottersbarlife.co.uk

http://pottersbarlife.createforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=31 As a local designer I get asked all the time about replacing a bath with a walk in shower. For many this a practical issue as sometimes we find ourselves unable to use a bath safely or comfortably. The one question I always get asked is 'will it reduce the value of my home if I get rid of my bath and replace it with a shower'?
