Skin Care Tips For Your Skin Type

Posted: Jan 14, 2011 |Comments: 0 |

It's maddening because all lines of skin care products claim their's is best at preventing those awful break-outs plus the ability to cleanse. If they keep talking, they'll immediately tell you their product can restore that 'youthful elasticity' plus 'take years' off your skin. There's no surprise at all when people listen to the hype, then walk away feeling more confused than ever. So are there any cleansers or toners the best performers if they all claim to be the best? How can you ever develop a skin care program that really is best for you? How can one really be sure that all they're doing is spending a lot of money to clog their own pores? Here are some hints to help you figure out which skin care products are the best skin care products for your skin type.

Start small. You really may not need 12-15 products to get great looking skin. You can begin with a cleanser, or a cleanser plus break-out prevention but also won't remove all the oil from your face. It usually is not a problem to use a simple cleanser that is non-prescription. Be sure you buy a product for adults. Products marketed to teens are usually harsher and might contain products that could harm an adult face. Did you know that one of the reasons your skin continues to break out could be because you're using a product that is not meant for your skin type? People have different types of skin, and deciding your type can be a challenge if you're not familiar with it. Consulting with a beautician or cosmetologist can be very helpful because they'll figure out your skin type and then make good suggestions for products to use. There's an excellent chance you'll have to sit through sales pitches for high-priced skin products. But you'll still walk away with knowing your skin type.

You can also ask any of your friends with similar skin type and maybe get a good recommendation. Some people are embarrassed to admit when a skin care product fails but the truth is that the failure is usually pretty obvious. Asking a friend who has dealt with your problem or whose skin is similar to yours can be a great way to get a review of a bunch of different products without your having to actually buy them!

Actually, you can use an method I listed to identify the skincare product which is right for you. Or if you like to experiment, you can purchase different products until you find one that suits your needs. The wrong one may break you out or not provide any positive results but this is basic to all skin products. Eventually you'll figure out what works for you and what doesn't.

Your sales letter should include a valid guarantee of some kind. If you want people to buy your product, you have to first give them some reassurance. By showing confidence in your own product, you help to instill that feeling in others. If you can prove that you are confident about what you're selling and that you will assume all the risk, their fears about buying will be put aside.

If your copy is hard to follow, you're going to lose readers left and right. You need to make sure you sell effectively and make your points, but you should also use bullet points and subheadings so it's easy to follow. If you can give your prospects the required information and perks of the product in bullet points, you are giving it to them in a way that's very clear. It would then be possible to lightly read over the copy so that the most important aspects are gleaned.

It's better to honestly explain to your prospects how your product can help them rather than bragging how great it is. All sales copy uses some hype, but make sure you also give people real information they can use. People read sales copy in order to learn facts that will help them decide if they want to buy it. Remember, when writing copy, "you" is a much more powerful word to use than "I." You are only helping your competition if your sales page talks mainly about yourself. In your sales copy, start telling them the benefits sooner rather than later. Throughout your copy, your focus should be on your customer.

It's all right to use such devices for special points you want to call attention to. You don't want to use them too much though. When used too much, it has a phony look. And that's the last thing you want to do with your copy. Keep it real and keep it as genuine as possible. Your copy should be easy to read and absorb. Letting the reader know exactly what he or she is getting is your goal when creating your copy.

Experiment with different headlines and tweak your copy to see how the conversions increase. Just shifting, adding or subtracting a word or two can make all the difference in your results. For this reason, split testing copy is something done by professional copywriters. Never confuse your prospect by beating around the bush. Getting your prospect to buy the product is the main objective. Elaborate slowly and give the strongest point form the start of your copy. Some copywriters make the mistake of being dramatic and dragging the copy, building up suspense before they get to the meaty part. The only purpose this serves is to kill interest in the copy which is never a good thing.
