One of the best ways to meet people, build those oh so important business connections, and, in general, network, is through word of mouth. This can be said of work which is done in a traditional setting or for those who may be working from home and establishing online businesses. When blogging, this is certainly true. Word of mouth, from friends and family to connections you have made in the business world, is going to certainly fuel interest in your web log, and article marketing is a great way to generate interest in your website and in your product. It is indeed a tool you must pursue to have a successful online blog today.
Article marketing is simply a way to get your name out there into the general public, making yourself recognizable to others. Then, even if they may not agree with the issues or the slant presented in your blog, at least then you have generated enough interest to solicit a hit on your site. And then, who knows? Maybe the buzz that you have created around yourself will keep them coming back for more.
In plain and simple terms, article marketing is what may, in the traditional publishing industry, be considered ghostwriting. You may write or blog short articles or entries for websites that are already established. In essence, you are then allowing your written material to be added to the site as a part of the information that the website is presenting to its viewers. I return for this service, not only will you typically be compensated monetarily for your services, but you should also be given a byline for your writing and a link will be established on that site where your article or blog appears that can connect the reader back to your often fledgling and new site. And there you have it- your name is out there with little to no monetary expenditure on your part!
Article marketing for bloggers is huge, especially when you are new and trying to establish readership of your web log. We all want to grow our online businesses as quickly as possible, and article marketing is a great way to get your name and message out cheaply and efficiently. It is an awesome tool for all who are interested not only in writing, but by growing a highly successful business through that venue.
Although writing for others may not first be appealing, the benefits certainly outweigh the negatives to this type of business. First of all, it is a nice way to establish some additional income, an income that is typically determined by you depending upon how much article marketing and writing for other sites you choose to undertake. Furthermore, it is a great way to supplement your income while taking on the task of starting a new business and establishing readers of your blog. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the writing can really help to spread your name around quickly, giving readers access to a site that they may not have otherwise known existed. It is a win-win situation for everyone.
Article marketing is a fantastic service for both writers and bloggers alike looking to either hone their writing skills, get a message out to the public and internet-using community, or for those just looking to supplement their current incomes. It is an excellent tool, one that is sure to be utilized more and more in the coming years.

Great insight. It is lot of work but if done properly it can produce great results. Most of the business for small size professionals (CPAs, Attorneys) come from word of mouth. This exercise can help one estalish oneself as active and knoweldgeable professional setting the perception (or “buzz”) around your business/services.
I agree with this article completely and believe not enough people are using this strategy. It is great not only for people who don’t have a lot of capital to invest for marketing, but I also belive that it is a great channel for those who do have capital. Is is a strategy I am using to promote my movie, Young Entrepreneur Society, about successful young entrepreneurs. We are building the site now and the movie will be released in Winter of 2008, so look out for it. You can check out the website http://www.YoungEntrepreneurSociety.com, to read about the movie and our journey. I look forward to hearing form you and hope this inspires you as it has me.

I find blogging is an excellent way to get a site or new pages index.
Usually within 48 hours, which is faster than submitting to the search engines.
Just curious to know, can we use our blog’s article to submit to article directories? Will this considered as copied content by search engine?
Interesting idea. May I ask, do you submit multiple articles to one directory or multiple articles to multiple directories. Also, how do you know which directories to submit to?
Hi Pele,
Yes we recommend submitting articles to multiple directories - by hand at most times.
But it really depends on the goal of the article you are writing - if its only for SEO purposes to build links - then the duplicate content problem occurs, but if you just want to reach a large reading audience then the more directories you submit to the better.

I totally agree with this article. I find blogging very fascinating and a powerful tool for promoting online business. It is easy to manage and can give your business bigger exposure than the search engines.
Thanks for this interesting post. Many of my clients are small businesses - both online and offline - and we ask them to just go out and share at least one article a month on various reputable sites. In fact, we suggest them to give some useful info on the posted article, and ask the reader to come over to their site to read more. It works well.
Fine business improvement SEO way of devolopment tips.Indeed it is delightful to share with you all while acknowledging your valuable information .
I completely agree with this article but most of the people in the service industry still does not know how to use this strategy. But I think it is an easy way to express your views and can also give your business alot of exposure.
