Blogging its never been easier

I don’t know if your having to logon to your blog’s CPanel before you publish your articles puts you in a tight corner. Yes you can email your post to a secret email address and get your articles published but then you do not have a way to verify how it’s going to look like before you mail it. Guess what?

Now that’s going to change. Microsoft in its infinite wisdom has created a tool called “Writer” and it is a very powerful blogging tool. You can actually preview how your post will look like on your blog before it even gets posted (even if you are not online). With this tool, you do not have to post, re-edit, post… that’s old news with this tool.

Is it easy to use? Nice question – making easy to use tools is Microsoft’s specialty as it might even be easier to use than your blogs’ Cpanel. If you have ever used Microsoft word using this tool is even easier as the interface of Writer has been stripped free of unnecessary features.

Since I started using Writer, I’ve stopped using any html editor – well I don’t need them anymore, Writer also allows you to view the source of your article and add custom code to it. Lets state something again – before Writer, I used to use 3 editors before posting any article Microsoft word, a text editor and finally Dreamweaver to handle the html/coding work (a time waste huh?).

Adding pictures is easier than ever because the pictures that you insert gets uploaded automatically, you can tag your posts offline, create photo albums, insert maps/videos with ease. You can also back-up you blogs from your desktop, create a related post section no matter what blogging system that you use.

Now every blogger’s dream – you can now post your articles to more than one blog, post your articles to different sites and make the post look different on the other site to avoid lowering your rankings by search engines.

Now as you already guessed, you need to be a windows user / have a hotmail or windows live… account to access this. Well not quite as you can get a direct link to the download if you want.

Now this tool does not just work with spaces – Microsoft's free blogging host, it also works with blogger, wordpress…

Did I mention that it is free? It is free to use, all the plug-ins that I downloaded were free, no spyware, malware of course.  Bottom line is that if you are not using this tool, you are missing a lot and wasting time.
