Building Multiple Blogs - Several Things To Consider

Posted: Nov 06, 2010 |Comments: 0 |

Having multiple blogs to promote different kinds of products or services looks interesting. Unfortunately many bloggers have failed to get the profits that they desired from their multiple web logs. Very often blog owners who manage just a few blogs can earn much more money than the ones who have a "blog empire". There are several reasons why this contradiction could have happened.

Just like any other kinds of websites, successful blogs provide unique and original content. This is the magnetism that makes people visit their web logs frequently. Unluckily, creating such content is not an easy task. Moreover, we have to keep them always up-to-date. These problems have caused many multiple blogs owners to rarely update their blog posts or to go for plagiarizing the contents from other blogs. These acts will result in their failure to attract frequent visitors as well as in gaining a good rank on search engines.

Bloggers who have a wide range of blogs also usually face difficulty in building back links for their blogs. As you know, various link generating methods, whether by conducting article submissions or by forum commenting, all require continuous efforts on your part. You need to spend enough time as well as energy to generate adequate back links for each of your blogging site.

You are also required to think about other important tasks such as updating plugins for all of your web logs. Although it may be not a difficult task but having to do it for dozens of blogs, one by one, is really a stressful toil. You may also have to deal with people who comment on your blog posts. In this case, before answering any comments, it is necessary for you to distinguish first which are the real ones and which are posted by spammers.

It is not easy to maintain several blogs. The owners of multiple blogging sites must have sufficient resources to manage each of their blog properly. However, this does not mean that you must steer clear from having multiple blogs in order to make money online. There are marketers who can do it profitably.

The system that you choose will also determine the amount of time and efforts required to maintain the blogs. It is very important to pick the right one from the start. If you can, find a fire-and-forget system which will not sacrifice the quality of your blogging sites. However, whatever system that you intend to use, do not forget to take into account all the details that will be required in managing your multiple blogs.
