Focus the content for Humans and not Search Engines
There is more that people say about the strategies used for search engine optimization and how important they are when writing content. According to me these things are not important because any content that I write is meant to be read by people and not search engines. With small articles it's possible to please search engines but these are not the main reason why I write content. I write content that will help people run their lives but for those who want to please search engines they only stuff their content with many keywords that do not add value to their content and this makes their content only pleasing to search engines.
There is no need of writing short articles that add no meaning to your site just to please the search engines and earn temporary traffic that adds no value to your site. Such a strategy cannot withstand the test of time and it will only play a temporary role in directing traffic to your site. You must not always depend on traffic that comes from search engines you can get traffic from people who will refer others to your site if you have quality content. If you are writing valuable content you can also get traffic from social media sites such as digg.com and reddit.com because these sites are visited by referred traffic.
