Give Me What You're Eating Posts On Twitter All Over Kim Kardashian Everyday

Posted: Mar 30, 2011 |Comments: 0 |

I have to bring up an important situation…one that is shared quite often on the internet and with a lot of controversy. This impacts everybody who engages in social media marketing on the internet and has far reaching ramifications (Ramifications! Wow!)…

Updating your Facebook Wall and Twitter stream about what you are currently eating.

There. I said it.

I know quite a few of you reading this article right this moment must be saying ‘Damn…Kenny actually did it! He brought it out in the open!' This needed to be said….and it has to be answered.

I'll get right to the point. I support and urge everyone on Social Websites to regularly Facebook and Tweet what you are eating and drinking…just about constantly.

We currently notice a lot of evidence of this on the net. Allow me to tell you exactly why it's so crucial.

People eat several times daily. Many try to eat up to 5-6 times every day. A handful even 10-20! (damn you go…but save a little for people like us ok??) As a result it's undoubtedly something that people does a ton of. We additionally up-date our Wall on Facebook and Tweet alot on top of that. A few far more than others I realize and some update a lot more than they eat.

Therefore doesn't it seem sensible to combine both?

Ever since the beginning of time we've bragged about what we ate for our meal the night before at work the following day. Wow, I ate some amazing Tortellini yesterday with some insane buttery garlic bread!" By using Social Networking these days we're now a lot more ‘immediate' regarding it.

Real time. Real eating.

Actually, when you think it over, I believe that's exactly what Social Media was devised for. Because it certainly ain't any good for internet marketing! *wink*

I don't know about some of you, but now I'm at the point where I check out my Facebook and twitter to find just what everyone is eating along with what tasty refreshments they're enjoying. I'm done with the Twitter updates on Forex, quotes by Confucius and how much Kim Kardashian loves us and her high heel shoes.

Speaking of Miss Kardashian (she's not hitched right? I can't keep up), I think she should step up her #tweetingwhatsheseating. I KNOW she eats! Right??

NOTE: We should rename Twitter 'Twitter Kim Kardashian'. I presume all two hundred Gazillion people follow her.

But I digress (been waiting to use that line for some time…)

Give me a roast beef and provolone with a Newcastle Brown Ale update any day…and if possible with a picture.

Which brings me to my next point: Images with the updates are a must! You want to look at what everyone is enjoying, correct? That needs to be 50% of your updates when possible.

Now about the detractors, or what I dub the ‘online food downers'. (I haven't made up a more suitable moniker than that which means that ideas are encouraged in the comments below!)

Everybody knows who these people are. They will whine on the internet regularly about the…well…updates on food.

‘If I read another Tweet of what you had for lunch I'm deleting you blah blah…'

Is that so? So you're so offended by my lunch Tweet you have to remove me? So inconvenienced that I've blocked your stream (eww!) that you'll miss that important update on the newest Twitter spamming software program?

Well find a frickin' life Mr. ‘You could make 197 grand on Twitter starting today because everybody knows you're pounding down a Foot Long Sub and washing it down with a 44 ounce Coke using the $8.54 you actually made!

So there you have it. Like the title states, I make absolutely no apologies for my #tweetingwhatimeating and I also intend to even step it up several notches.

And it's time that 1…we all admit that we love to eat a lot more than we'll actually fess up to and want everybody to see it constantly and 2…acknowledge that this is the Real reason Social Media was created.

For my most up-to-date eatings go follow me: http://twitter.com/kennethholland and http://kennethholland.com/facebook and don't forget to leave a plate of nachos.
