The product initially comes with all the coloring pages letters A-Z and numbers too. There is a spot on the page which is a green "go" sign. Once the toy is turned on and the pages are in place (which is held in place by the template plastic "frame") the child uses their crayon to press the go on the page. Then Leap Frog talks to them when he is colored and tells them the letter name and sound. When the letter is colored you hear a phonics song. The imagination desk comes with a 50 page coloring book that teaches letters and the sound of letters.
