Get A Six Pack in A Week ~ Learn the Myths

Many people ask me, is it actually possible to get a six pack in a week?  And for some people, the answer is yes.  But you're going to need to have a relatively low body-fat percentage to be able to get there.

Everybody wants to show off that ripped beach body that gets everybody staring.  And truth be told, if you're a motivated enough person, it's very attainable.  For most people, this process will take somewhere between a few months, unless, like I've said earlier, you have a low enough body-fat percentage.

The more you educate yourself about getting a six pack, the quicker you'll be able to get one and the quicker you'll be able to show it off.  There are two primary keys I will discuss in this article, diet and workout routine.

First, the six pack diet.  This consists of low fat, high protein foods.  This is because you're going to need to both build muscle and lose fat over the next few weeks.  Pretty obvious stuff for anyone who knows the basics of building muscle or dieting.  What many people don't know, however, is that you need to start eating 5 small meals a day as opposed to three larger ones.  This will boost your metabolism exponentially and consequently help you burn fat at an accelerated rate.

Second, the six pack workout.  While many people believe crunches and cardio will get them results, they couldn't be further from the truth.  Crunches will work out the same region of your core over and over again and there's only so much progress you can make by continually working out these muscles.  So what do you need to do? Comprehensive workouts, that specifically target the four main regions of your core.  These regions include the lower and upper abdominals, obliques, and lower back.  If you design a workout that consists of exercises that specifically target these areas, you'll see results literally ten times quicker than people who stick to crunches.  This more comprehensive approach has been proven to get results, and over time, undoubtedly will.
