In order to get a muscular physique, you need to increase your calorie intake. With this in mind, you should ensure that your diet is rich in carbohydrates, proteins and healthy fat. You need to take plenty of complex carbohydrates in your diet of you want to succeed increasing your muscle mass. Complex carbohydrates are not absorbed by the body very fast, and therefore will not be converted and stored as fat. You need to take plenty of proteins since they are the building blocks of muscles and also contain plenty of calories. Healthy fat are also very rich in calories which are needed to fuel the intense weight training session.

Once you have come up with a proper weight training routine and diet, the next thing you need to do is to rest. Rest is very important if you want to get a muscular physique. If you do not rest you are going to lose the already acquired muscles.
