How To Improve Pain Threshold When Bodybuilding

There are times that body building becomes a total headache. Sometimes body building melts under confusion especially when muscles delay in responding to training as expected. Even after reading tons and tons of body building articles, even after eating right and precise, even after sleeping adequately, even after supplementing the diet appropriately and sometimes even after training relentlessly. Intended results may still delay dally. Frustration may start coming in and most body builders quit at this point.

But as for you, when this happens, and your body building program hits the all time low, it is time to be a warrior. There a few things that you can do to turn around the tide. There is away to revitalize the gains, to rejuvenate the growth and to rearm your workout arsenal. Only the warriors ever make it through these moments of a body building program. And the warriors do not just make it through the lows; rather they make it with prizes on their shoulders having turned around their misery to an opportunity to achieve dreams and ambition.

So if you are the warrior type of a body builder, begin by intensifying your workout. The trick in making exercises bring results fast, is just not in performing the exercises routinely, but in performing the workouts with intensity. Weight training especially is dependent on intensity as a key ingredient to growth in muscle size and muscularity. Use the time minimal muscle gains to consolidate giant physical agility and flexibility. Start with strength training so that when you intensify the weight training, the body will better be able to handle the weights.

Like a farmer who tills his land before the rains, use the low growth moments to amplify your strength for the time when you increase intensity. With increased intensity, for as long as the body is strong enough to handle the increment without overtraining, comes renewed growth. Remember that intensity here refers to an application of maximal physical efforts in a systematic strategy so as to further development of a technically prepared motor skill.

For the warrior body builder to amplify intensity, he or she must begin by preparing the body to handle the increase in workload. A bad body form if forced to handle intensified workouts only results to injuries and accidents. No warrior ever goes to war without preparing and strategizing adequately on how to approach and overcome the enemy. So too does it work in body building. Prepare the body adequately to handle and overcome intensity challenges. Master the physical exertions and demands that accompany intense workouts.

But don't be hesitant in taking the leap forward. Remember that without pain there is never going to any gain. Learn to tolerate pain as a process of getting there in terms of body building gains. To overcome initial setbacks in muscle growth, warrior type body builders usually push their muscular endurance and capabilities to the exterior limits of absolute failure. That is the region on which maximal muscle stimulation occurs and growth is phenomenal. At that region, the region of the extra mile, not even poor genetics can stop you from bulking up.
