Love is the Power – Says Rhonda Byrne

Posted: Sep 04, 2010 | Views: 107 |

Only one author has the power of rearranging the entire schedule of their readers when their books arrive in the market, and she is Rhonda Byrne. Readers have been waiting for so long for the next part after her book The Secret went on to become a huge hit. The latest book, The Power, is all about love, if you love something, you get the love back. You feel good about yourself, and the entire world changes for you. One has to agree though, The Power is also (mostly) about the Law of Attraction.

Rhonda Byrne Has a Practical Writing Style

The noticeable difference (from other writers) about The Power by Rhonda Byrne is that she explains everything in a practical, matter of fact way. When she quotes legends from the past to buttress her case that love can win everything for you, it's hard to argue with her. The possibility that Rhonda Byrne is a fan of Neville Goddard can't be denied. He said if you believe what you want is already with you, you will help universe make it real for you. Some people, however, disagree when Rhonda Byrne says you don't need to act to get what you want, you just need to believe. It may seem effortless for Rhonda Byrne (her success), but she is acting to do something and it shows.

In The Top Five Bestsellers Right Away

Although it took her long to come up with another book, it was expected she would make a comeback, since self help authors do have a history of coming back to write again (who doesn't). We didn't know whether she had anything else to say or not, but she had it in her, as she has managed to create a 250 page book yet again, this time called The Power. Just the next day when The Power was published, it was in the Amazon top five – despite the fact that Rhonda Byrne refused to promote her own book (there were no interviews). Another thing that can't be denied is that Rhonda Byrne convinces more people to shell out money than who turn up to listen to Glenn Beck for free.

Defer Yourself for a Bigger Cause

The publishing world can't do anything but take notice. According to Rhonda Byrne, The Power mentioned in the title of the book is the power of love, on which the entire universe depends. The power of love can be experienced when you subsume your ego while deferring your ego for a bigger cause.

iBoy by Kevin Brooks is much more than just a tale of grit or a new action hero (another thing common, the hero can't reveal himself to the girl he loves). To enjoy the book, however, you'll have to excuse use of few sloppy words such as enervated or frequently occurring swearing throughout the book.
