When Fate Comes Calling by Sean Doyle - Fate’s Play over a Romantic Couple

Sean Doyle has worked as an Investment Manager since gaining a degree in economics. He spent two years living in Bahrain and traveled throughout the Middle East. When comes to romantic and non-fictional subjects, Sean is at his best.

“When Fate Comes Calling”, a romantic story book written by Sean is the story about two young lovers who got departed due to darker forces. Jack, the hero of this story is a carefree student who meets and falls in love with a beautiful French girl, Abrielle on holiday in the Catalan resort of Rosas. Abrielle is a sweet, gorgeous young girl who is bit mysterious but enigmatic in nature. These couples loved each other to an extreme end which surprised out everyone, but not lasting for long due to the spectre of terrorism that overshadows their dwindling days together. The swift intensity of their relationship is brought to a sudden and devastating end, before their youthful affair.

From here, the author takes the story to continue from almost two decades later, the couple meets again by chance while on business in Beirut. They are now very different people holding different positions. Jack is a successful businessman who was living with a troubled marriage, while Abrielle is a committed political journalist, entirely wedded - or so it seems - to her career. As they meet each other, they reveal those golden days, when they were in love with each other. This reminisce made Jack to realize that old feelings are being awakened and sleeping fires rekindled. Also this raises question within them that, Is this should be their second chance?

Soon they come to know that life is more complicated this time around thereby their brief reunion comes towards its end symbolizing that fate yet again threatens to intervene. Credits go to the author for providing such an impressive story that unbinds the experience in real-time life, which would have been felt by many people in this world.

You can almost taste the sulfur bubbling up from the fires and brimstone of Hell in this action thriller by Frank J. Roberts. It's 1968 again, God isn't dead, the Devil is tired of waiting, and the USSR and USA, locked in the Cold War, are searching for a paranormal path around the others' guard.

Lynn Austin

By: Melinda | 03/12/2009
A friend of mine introduced me to Lynn Austin about a year ago with "Eve's Daughters," and I have been devouring every other book of hers since then, when I have time. Her novels tend to involve the lives of women who cross paths and are forever changed because of it, or young women in search of something, yet find something opposite of what they were searching for. I love how she develops the characters almost instantly, and I am always drawn into the story in the first few pages.

Book Review Of Charleston Red by Sarah Galchus

By: Mike Nardine | 03/12/2009
Charleston Red. The book’s title might be a reference to the blood shed by the murderer in this mystery novel written by a local physician and set in modern-day Charleston, South Carolina; or it might only be referring to the bright flame colored drawing rooms of anti-bellum mansions in an older, fabled, Charleston. Or it might be both.

By: Mike Nardine | 03/12/2009
This small book accorded me one of the most pleasant reading experiences of the last year or so. And don't think I'm damning it with faint praise using the word "pleasant." I'm not; I really liked this book.
