Xlibris Publishing, the global leader in self-publishing announced their expansion into the UK, Australian and New Zealand markets today with new, digital friendly publishing services.

Xlibris has nurtured relationships with worldwide leaders in the industry and has initiated the launch of alliances with industry-leading digital content portals giving its titles worldwide availability in both print and digital format. The addition of publishing in the ePub format to its entire line of Black & White Publishing Services will enable the independent publishing giant to dominate the online digital publishing market by producing digital versions of all new titles it publishes – and converting tens of thousands from its list of already published titles.

By utilizing its established relationships, these titles will be available worldwide through several popular e-readers and e-channels as well as the traditional book printers and distributors. With the help of the Sony e-Book Store, Amazon’s Kindle eBook Store, and the possibility of distribution through the Apple iStore, thousands of Xlibris titles will be available in a myriad of formats to reach every reader around the world.

“Xlibris leads the world in new titles brought to market. We will convert every new title and tens of thousands from our backlist into digital formats and make them available through the leading digital content portals. We believe as our self-publishing business continues to accelerate, we will become the world’s largest publisher of original digital content,” said Kevin Weiss, president and chief executive officer.

By being at the forefront of digital publishing, and combined with their expansion into the UK, Australian and New Zealand publishing markets, Xlibris has truly cemented their place as the global leader in the rapidly growing self-publishing industry.

Ar’n’t I A Woman Analytical Review

By: Chris Danks | 23/11/2009
Throughout the history of North American slavery, no one endured worse treatment while at the same time receiving next to no historical attention than the enslaved African-American woman. Almost every single notable historian has focused solely on the male slaves. Deborah Gray White’s Ar’n’t I A Woman? Female Slaves in the Plantation South, attempts to provide a long overdue examination of African-American women history.

Voice of Conscience is a Story of Life, Love and Revenge

By: William | 21/11/2009
Kaya's talent for storytelling is evident on every page and it is easy to forget that Voice of Conscience is his first novel. Frequently, I was shaking my head in shock, laughing at his humor, and moved by a sad passage all in the same chapter.

By: Murali | 19/11/2009
Writing book reviews is consumes a lot of time and a thankless job. In most cases the reviewer might ask why I write them. But the ultimate aim should be to make the writings of the review enjoyable by everyone. "Writing crystallizes thought" should be the motto of the reviewer. The book reviews are a way of reflecting on the book and putting some of my ideas on the work in order maybe for future reference.

Screenwriting Book Review for Writing Drama

By: Red Winer | 19/11/2009
Yves Lavandier’s screenwriting book Writing Drama should probably be on the shelf of every scriptwriting junkie’s obligatory bookshelf. It is most likely way too heady for the mainstream but it is a necessary read for anyone serious about story structure, myth, and story telling. He may not have a lot of screen credits but the man is definitely brilliant.
