Got a New Hot Spot in Town? Advertise Your Club with Club Flyers!

Posted: Nov 18, 2009 |Comments: 0 |

Make the most out of the grand opening of your new club, bar or restaurant and insure a killer turnout with flyer advertising!  When word of mouth isn't enough, tangible advertising with high quality club flyers works to get the word out in a most effective way.

Start out with a hip, new design.  Include your club's logo or have a graphic designed specifically for you.  Uniform with your club's theme, flyers should do the work for you by advertising and attaching a face to the name.  Full color flyers will attract attention and get your club noticed, but you may also choose to go with a simple design.  It is really up to you and how you choose to design your flyers, and these flyers should be synonymous with your club and its image.  If you have a fresh and new hot spot for dancing or live music, be sure to highlight that.  If you are aiming to advertise a classy, new restaurant or eatery, your flyer should reflect the class and taste of your establishment.

The message should be simple and direct.  You do not want to clutter up a flyer with too much information.  Let the reader know what it is you are advertising, where to be, what time, and include contact information or a website address for added exposure.

Next, you will want to consider how to distribute these flyers.  You can make sure the word is spread by papering the area of town in which you have opened your club or restaurant.  Another effective means of advertising is to do the footwork of passing out flyers in highly populated areas of your city or town.  Mall parking lots, other shopping centers, or any other area where a lot of the public congregate will work perfectly.  Hand to hand distribution works great and allows for interaction with the public you are wanting to invite to your grand opening.  Another alternative is windshield placement of your flyers.  Wherever there are many cars gathered is a great place to start.

There are two kinds of advertising above the line (ATL) and below the line (BTL). Above the line advertising is one which involves commission such as radio, TV ads or newspapers and below the line advertising is print based such as flyers, direct mail, trade fair marketing or point of purchase ads. There is no commission for advertising agency in this kind of advertising. Now a day's above the line advertising is not preferred as much as below the line.
