Social Media Branding

The influx of businesses that use social media to introduce, reinforce and grow a brand has, in the past two years, grown so rapidly and exponentially, the necessity of brand consultancy for the new comer in any vertical is now a given.  If, that is, growth is the goal.

Understanding the return of investment on social media campaigns is critical to the campaign's success.  It is also a complicated and intricate process that may well be beyond the technical savvy and innovative know-how of many marketing teams.   This is not your grandfather's yellow-pages-two-color-boxed-in-1/4-page-ad anymore.

Formulating a plan of action is, as with all business endeavors, the first process in this complicated (and necessary) marketing strategy.  Outlining the desired outcome of any digital and/or social media marketing campaign is the first step and skipping or minimizing this step will be the ultimate downfall of many well intentioned marketing teams.

Knowing your target market and where they are looking for your product, or more specifically, your competition's product,  is absolutely critical in allocating resources to any digital branding campaign.  Much of this work has already been done for you- by your successful competitors.

Executed efficiently and reviewed constantly, successful digital media marketing campaigns will grow your business in ways never before possible.  It is a full-time job and using brand consultancy firms may be the best investment you can make to your marketing team.

Without the technical expertise, innovative branding tools, detailed assessment of ROI and the up-close–and-personal knowledge of your strongest competitors that brand consultantcy offers, your marketing team may well be buried in the already vastly crowded field of your industry.

Harnessing the multitude of opportunities that are now available is fairly overwhelming for the do-it-yourself-er. Brand Consultancy can mean the difference between having 20,000 ‘friends' on Face book who ‘hide' the brand from the daily feed to being the center of discussion as consumers review, recommend and influence others to try the products/services.

There are two kinds of advertising above the line (ATL) and below the line (BTL). Above the line advertising is one which involves commission such as radio, TV ads or newspapers and below the line advertising is print based such as flyers, direct mail, trade fair marketing or point of purchase ads. There is no commission for advertising agency in this kind of advertising. Now a day's above the line advertising is not preferred as much as below the line.
