In advertising you brand, you have an ally with the ever improving full color digital printing technology. But there are things that you must avoid in order to attain success with how you market your services, may it be through broadcast or print. The magic lies with how you sell your products and services to people. It all lies on how you put in words what you want to tell them.
To create the ads that will help you convey your message to your target market effectively, here are some tips for you to go about it. Match all these with the materials processed through full color digital printing and you will be on your way to success.
1. Do not make your probable clients say so what. So you are the best company. You have been in the business for 30 years or so. Your company president is a graduate of the best university. You have all the up to date equipments.
The clients will read that and how do you think are they going to react. So what? This is how most of them will perceive the ads containing the abovementioned messages. There is too much bragging, but what do those statements lack? They lack conviction, and why? They are merely focusing on you and you alone. So how will the probable clients benefit from availing your services? This information isn’t included.
So change the tone in the manner that you will be able to address what people would like to hear and what they have been looking for. Say I like it will be best for them to avail the services of the best company like you. How about saying that if it is quality and durability of materials that they are looking for, your company has proven to be able to give such and more with the over 30 years of your tenure in the industry.
The idea here is to focus on your clients before you focus on your company. Give them what they want and what they need before you tell them how are you going to be able to give it to them.
2. It is okay to keep your probable clients entertained. But to entertain them for no good reason but that will not cause any positive outcome on your part. You may be able to make them laugh. They will talk about the ads long enough, but do you think they will remember who made those ads? The most important thing that you want to happen will be superseded by too much entertainment.
You must it the entertainment minimal or equal to he amount of information that you want them to know about. They must remember the ad, but first they must remember who made those ads. This way, you will benefit from the entertainment and it will help you broadcast your marketing message the best way possible.
3. Too much straight information might bore your probable clients. This is where your creativity will be put too good use. Just remember that too much will not work the way you intended them to be. Use full color digital printing to make the ads that work and will last on your customers’ minds.

Why save everything

Why not review and throw away the unworthy images? With film, one used to think before activating the shutter. This is not true with digital, so the editing has to be done post-image aquisition. Not everything needs to be saved.

Short(s) Cuts: What Gap's Failures Teach the World About Business
By: Richard Laermer | 08/10/2008
I was watching an old TV show from last year –gosh, my TiVo has so much stored it could have been from two years ago– and found myself gawking at a super-colorful Sarah J Parker dancing and carousing to “I Just Love Being a Girl” in a really horrible ad for “The Gap” and its new line of pink khakis! It occurred to me this company has had more trouble in the last decade and that all businesses need to pay attention to the veteran retailer….so they don’t end up a joke like The Gap has become.
