If you ever found true love and then lost it all, you know the love sickness doesn't merely disappear. It's something you think about every day. Whether you're watching a movie or you're eating dinner at the corner diner where you both had met, your mind will drift to a time when you and your partner were doing the same thing.

But what if those past good times could come back?

What if your ex came racing back to you?

When these situations come up, you have to put your desire in front of your friends and even family. Your happiness is at stake. Sure, a separation may have stemmed from a reason that really wasn't worthy of breaking up the relationship. Sometimes things are read the wrong way that make them much bigger than they actually are, and once the ball gets rolling, sometimes it's just too difficult to stop it. Then each side makes things worse by blaming and accusing the other. Before you know it, you both go your separate paths.

Did I think I would get here?
Am I happier without him or her?

You may find that your second thoughts have you second guessing everything. Sure, break ups happen all the time, and for good reason. Only you know for sure if your old relationship should stay broken. However, if you truly find yourself down after your break up and thinking about "what might have been" then you have to make a decision. You have to decide if your happiness means more to you than the problems that resulted in your break up. You have to decide if you split up for the wrong reasons. You have to make the choice on whether you want your ex-love back.

Change can happen

People can change for the good and bad. Problems can change for the good and bad. The point is, change can happen, but it can happen in the direction you want if effort is applied. Granted, some relationships are hopeless, but I'm talking about the ones that can make a rebound. Sometimes it takes just one extra effort to find happiness again.
