The following may help you advance. Call off all contact with your ex, which means absolutely no more calls, texts, emails, etc.  It has to be done even if you find it difficult.    It is normal for your ex to try to run when they find you chasing after them.   When someone chases after you, you escape so leave her alone and give her the space she needs.  Everybody wants to spend their time with people who are amusing and competent and not with people who are weak and insecure.  Your ex is the same, so leave her alone or she will continue to run away.  So go out and amuse yourself with your friends and make the most of your life.  It may not be easy but doing so will help you in two ways.    Firstly your ex will hear about how much you are enjoying yourself without her.  She won’t be happy that she is missing out on this, and she will remember that she fell in love with you in the first place.
