You can give up hope and let it break you down so that you can’t overcome it easily or you can make a firm decision to overcome the breakup and even become stronger because of it. Depending on how you deal with the breakup and what your attitude is will decide the outcome. We all know that whatever doesn't kill you will make you stronger. But determination is needed. You don’t have to let a breakup completely ruin your life so that you feel destroyed. A survivor is a person who decides a moment in time will not define them and they will move on. Any type of ending is difficult be it a marriage ending, a relationship or even the death of someone. If your relationship ending was because your were cheated on and you feel you are having low self-esteem problems you may want to seek some minor counseling to get through that particular problem. If you were abused or were the abuser you may also need some counseling to get over that issue. You don’t want any long term problems come out of having to deal with a breakup. There is a life after your breakup. You need to keep that in mind at all times. When you are dealing with a breakup you want to come out stronger after you get through it. If you remain positive, keep your focus and make good plans you are going to help you yourself through this troubling time. You won't be as consumed with grief-like feelings if you can remain confident and set good goals in this process. Once you decide that you can survive and you are going to make it then you should decide that you are going to go farther and actually thrive from it. Your best days are still ahead of you. Wake up each day from now on with the notion that it is going to be a good day and the future is going to be exciting. Life is not over just because your relationship broke up.
