There are some women who are trapped in an abusive relationship but fail to recognize the fact that they are being abused because they tend to overlook the signs, deny the truth, or think of excuses for their partner’s behaviour. • You avoid discussions that might provoke your partner to get mad.
• You feel helpless about your situation.
