What You Think Can Cause Your Relationship to Break Up

So your relationship is on the rocks, right? Have you given serious thought why it is going down the proverbial tubes? Have you heard the adage "As a man thinketh in his heart so is he?"

There has never been a thing before an act. There has never been an act before a thought. What do we think about all the day long regarding our relationships, our professions, our lives?

The experts claim we think about 40,000 thoughts a day. That is a lot of thoughts. It would not take long to create a thought habit at that rate now would it? It is proved we need 7 times more positive input than negative to be able to thrive.

It is pretty much a sure bet if a thought "Divorce" enough times it will sooner or later come out of the mouth. It is also a pretty safe bet if that a thought comes out of the mouth enough times it will sooner or later be acted upon. These thoughts are stored in the very core center (heart) and affects the entire being for good or ill.

It is said if the tongue be ruled it can rule an army. That old tongue is pretty unruly member. If the tongue is unruly, try controlling those unbridled thoughts. And most of those thoughts are not very good ones are they?

No wonder relationships every where are suffering. If we beat up the dog like we beat up on each other it would run away also.

Big Hint: Judgment is a relationship killer. Enough criticizing, complaining and condemning will destroy anyone. None of us are perfect and do not have any standing to judge anyone else. Judging is only done to make the judge feel better about himself at someone else's expense.

We do have the ability to control those unruly thought. We can, if paying attention, stop them when they begin and replace them with a positive uplifting and edifying thought that builds our lover and our relationship up.

With practice and a tight reign we can be aware of when the mind wanders askew and then choose to dwell only on those uplifting and edifying thoughts.

Are we loving our spouse with when we are thinking evil thoughts against them? How can we expect our relationship to grow when spend more time destroying it than building it?

What will be done today with all those negative thoughts that enter the mind?  We can bury them or spew them out at our spouse. It is our choice how we act. We can act anyway we choose and do anything we want except one. Escape the consequences of our actions, our words, our thoughts.

Remember, thoughts produce things, choose the good ones.
