The Feldman Law Center is one of the premier loan modification companies in California, and our skilled loan modification professionals are trained to successfully and carefully guide homeowners through the loan modification process.
The Feldman Law Center has always held itself, competing firms, and the entirety of the loan modification industry to the highest standards of ethical behavior. Those high standards, and the willingness to back up the belief in them with action, has created a number of enemies among those companies willing to make a fast buck at the expense of operating in an ethical manner. To that end, Feldman Law Center is currently being attacked, slandered, and smeared by a small cadre of posters, believed to be made up of one or two disgruntled ex-employees and a few minions in the hire of these lesser companies. These attacks are generally well-run as this nasty little group has been able to “search engine optimize” their way to the front pages of the major search engines.
While the seo campaigns have seen their share of placement successes, the posts typically fall into easily discernable patterns. A vast majority of these posts are centered on inflammatory words like scam, rip-off, stealing, etc. and are meant to incite commentary. Increased commentary then boosts the ranking of the attack posts. The irony here is that this commentary will assist the very people we’re trying to defend ourselves against. Additionally, posters are often paid for comments that mention their handle specifically, thus providing motivation to keep conversation and commentary moving at a brisk pace. The posts are typically insulting, accusatory without foundation, vague, and void of details.
With that in mind, let’s de-construct the comments made in the article to which we refer. The “author” jumps in immediately with a rant that includes several accusations, of which none are backed up with any specifics. Possibly to compensate for the continuing lack of detail the poster goes to “all caps” to emphasize another baseless accusation toward the end of the second paragraph. The rant goes on to demean Steven Feldman, the founder of The Feldman Law Center, with more baseless insults. It should be noted that Mr. Feldman has been licensed by the California state bar for over 25 years. Logic would have it that if this poster truly had a legitimate complaint he would have had some sort of story to tell or, at the very least, have an anecdote or two about his “plight”. Instead, this is a post done with a recognizable mercenary template, written by someone that may have never even contemplated a loan modification.
Let’s save the best for last. Despite all the aggrieved posturing and dire warnings, the poster does not forget to set up four hyper-links (the words Law, money, lawyer, and writing), hoping to make a little cash off of the very people he is claiming to protect. Should a reader click through any of those hyper-links and make a purchase this poster stands to make a couple bucks on top of what he was paid for the original post.
