The firm is now owned and operated by John Hall Jr., and his son Hardy Brown. Between them, Hardy and John only accept about three to five projects per year so they fully focus on their clients. They only work locally over Dallas - Forth Worth and Arlington Metropolitan Area (Texas) and their name is only as good as their last project. Brown, Brown and Associates focus on the current project that they can design and detail with great confidence maximizing every dollar spent. BBA-Architects’ attention to detail continues through design development and on into construction documents. Recent nation studies show that the average project incurs 10% in change orders. BBA-Architects’ plans consistently run less than 3% in change orders. That is three times tighter than the national average.

BBA Church Architects’ accomplishments include: Custer Road United Methodist Church located at 6601 Custer Road, Plano, Texas. The church was master planned on a four acre site in 1980 by BBA, while the church was meeting in a school. The First Phase included an interim worship space (Multi Purpose) seating 700 (the interim worship space was designed to be the Family Life Center in the Master Plan). This space is flexible and multifunctional and can be used as fellowship for larger gatherings. The Phase I, completed in 1983, included worship, administrative, Fellowship, Kitchen and educational areas. Phase II, completed in 1986, provided for an additional 15,000 sq. ft. of educational space. Phase III provides for a 1,600 seat Sanctuary, (plus music space as well as an additional Adult Sunday School space to support the larger Sanctuary. Phase IV provides for a Youth Area, Chapel, Parlor, Library, Bride’s Room, renovation of interim worship space to convert to the master planned Family Life Center function. Phase V was completed in April 1995 and provides additional children’s class rooms. Phase VI was completed in May 1997.

There is also the Region 10 Education Service Center, located in Richardson, Texas. Services included analysis of space needs, programming, and space planning. BBA-A also, remodeled 14,000 sq. ft. of existing building while the users remained in the building. A 75-day duration of complete demolition to rebuilding interior from start to finish.

The Stonebridge United Methodist Church located in McKinney, Texas Master planned 14 acres. Master planned Sanctuary to seat 2,500. First Phase completed in 1999 to include a multipurpose worship Center seating 700, with education, administrative, parking. Phase Two is under construction for approximately 25,000 sq. ft. class room addition, and will provide for a Day School.
