The flourishing business by employing state of the art technology has become a trend in China. Online business procurement and direct marketing are common business practices devotedly followed in this country. As role models, the Chinese are leading in the use of new technology and alternative media.
Global sourcing in China is increasing day by day and one of the reasons is the increasing e-commerce activities. The benefits of e-commerce in China are manifold. The import and export sector have witnessed tremendous growth. In the last few years e-commerce in China has maintained a regular growth and has now become an essential part of Chinese business. One can get an idea from this fact that around twelve hundred e-commerce websites have been set up by the consumers in China. Every day a minimum of three to four e-commerce websites are created. These sites generally focus their attention on e-commerce business in inland areas, including the well developed areas of south and coastal China.
Many factors which earlier used to create impediments in the growth of e-commerce business in China have now improved. The processes have become more secure and stabilized a lot. One of these areas (which have been improved) is the online payment method. The online payments have become very popular and Chinese banks have molded themselves accordingly and are offering fast banking services. The ratio of internet users in China also determines the development of e-commerce in China. A large number of computer manufacturers and from software fields are joining the e-commerce club to introduce their latest products in Chinese market. This has given rise to a broad range of products import from and exported to China.
Although the e-commerce discipline is at its primary stage and there are still some problems like payment delivery, verification and related rules and regulations, but in spite of this growth rate of China e-commerce is very fast. According to a survey only 20 percent people in China believe in online shopping, while only forty percent Chinese people rely on online transactions. Around 80 percent people using internet in China are always worried about the security of online information.
There are still some difficulties in making money through e-commerce because an internet retail sale is still not an easy task to pursue in China. Rather than making money on e-commerce websites owners are paying out of their pockets. But China is striving to change this scenario by developing the basic framework of e-commerce.
China e-commerce is becoming popular in global sourcing and some of the insights were provided in the above text. Emergence of new websites in China e-commerce is giving impetus to it in global sourcing.
