You will stay up late into the night working hard on your new idea, you will go to bed each night thinking about it, and you may even dream about it while you are asleep. Most importantly, the process of creating and bringing your product or service to market will not be work, it will be fun. The difference between pursuing a good idea and a great idea may easily be the determining factor in either your success or failure because if you aren't motivated enough to act, you will fail. Believe it or not, motivation alone is a tremendous part of Internet marketing or owning any business. Entrepreneurs have to be able to motivate themselves. Even when they are sick of reading about, hearing about, and dealing with their niche market they must continue. Starting an online business is not hard but making it successful is hard. That's why so many online marketers fail. They get drawn in by the empty promises of easy, fast money but quit when it comes time to put forth the effort. Starting is easy, sticking with it is not. Chances are, you were drawn into online marketing after you heard "how simple and easy it is to start your own online business." Starting an online business is relatively simple and easy. But, the other side of that coin is that making it successful is just as hard as any brick and mortar business. The challenges are different but the amount of effort is the same. Great ideas are the only ideas worth pursuing, If you are not passionate about the business idea now, when you are just getting started, are you going to have the necessary motivation to get you through all of the work that will be required of you to be successful? Are you going to be willing to put in the necessary effort if your heart isn't in your work? The only "easy money" out there is the money you earn promoting a business that you are passionate about and that you believe in. Then it's not work at all, it's a labor of love.
