I’ve been working for the same company for quite a few years now, more or less worked my way up from dirt poor scratch position to being my own executive in less than a decade, a record in our company as some people would put it. I chalk it up to determination, truth be told, as really, when you know what you want, you’ll know how to get it no matter what.
We recently celebrated my tenth anniversary in the company, and for a gift, they gave me custom golf clubs, my name monogrammed on the bag’s side and stamped on the golf clubs’ handles, and the company logo on the heads of the clubs. It was quite the honor, even when it was just a bag of personalized golf clubs, as these guys’ went out of their way to look for a golf bag manufacturer.
It was symbolic. It meant something. And the clubs look beautiful, too, beautiful enough that I asked the company where they had the clubs done. They pointed me toward an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) that manufactured custom golf equipment from hybrid golf clubs to training aids to golf umbrellas. The manufacturer’s golf bag factory, I was told, is where top brands like Callaway, Burberry, MacGregor, and ElleGolf among others get their golf merchandise. Besides the manufacture of golf accessories for personal use, the said OEM also distributes these to The quality of the work is pretty good, none of the factory-made look, despite having been made in a factory. What’s more, the cost was cheap, which was amazing, seeing as to how the products were of top quality.
I had a few clubs and bags custom-made for my friends and family, with my initials along the sides, and I plan to give them away as gifts this coming summer, as I plan to hold a mini private tournament for us in the neighborhood golf park. Maybe it could be an annual thing? Why not?
