If you plan to own an eBay business, generate an income, quit your day job, and if you do not even have a product of your own to sell. eBay will give you the opportunity to that exact thing. For many people who want to quit their corporate nine to five jobs, and a way to make a good income, without having to put up a lot of money. With the help of drop shippers all this is made possible. Drop shippers send merchandise to the customers of business owners. If you have an eBay business, and you are an ebay business owner, you can offer a wide variety of stock in your eBay store, without having the need to warehouse all those products!
You set up your ebay auction, sell the product, and then pass the customer’s information on to the drop shipping company. The rest is done by the drop shipper, and they will even use your company information, your company logo if you have provided them one. The product arrives at your customer’s location, and they will have no idea that the drop shipper not your company sent the product. The drop shipper is responsible for packaging, labelling , and shipping the products that you sell through ebay, allowing you much more time to set up even more auctions, for greater profits.
In order to become very successful you must establish a good working relationship with several drop shipping companies. In the beginning, most companies will require you to pay for the products that your customers order before they are shipped. You need to fill orders, pay for the products with a credit card for speedy service. After a period of time, the drop shipper fill your orders for you, and then bill you for the products later.
After setting up your eBay auctions, set your reserve price for the items higher than the price that the drop shipper will be charging you for the products. The higher price insures you earn a profit, because that is what it is all about! Do your research and depending on the product you are selling, a markup of around 10% should be good. Although, you should do some research to see if the product is selling for a lower price in a different eBay auction, or other online sources. Using the drop shipping method and starting an eBay business, there is essentially no financial risk involved, because the products will be sold before you pay a dime to the drop shipper for these items. This is one business where you can actually turn a profit before you even have expenditures!
