You have made up your mind that you want to work from home. You have already started investigating all the home business ideas that are out there on the internet. After inquiring about a few, you have discovered that most websites promising to make you a fortune working from home are just out to get your money from your wallet. They talk the talk, but after they have received your hard earned cash, seem to disappear into the World Wide Web!

You could become a financial adviser as long as you have a good credit record and do not have a criminal record. You can work from home and populate your website with information the local public needs. You will then need to get out and visit businesses in your area and persuade them to become paid up members of your site. You will be able to work flexible hours and manage this business entirely from home.

If the internet and computers are not to your liking, then why not start a business looking after other peoples pets? Many people are so caught up in the rat race that they do not have time to take care of their pets. Your tasks would include taking dogs for a walk, grooming the pets and babysitting them whilst the owners are away on business or holidays.

If you love cooking, why not turn your passion into a business? You could start a small catering company from home if you have a large kitchen and ample storage space for your ingredients. You could then offer lunch deliveries to offices and factories in the nearby industrial parks. Alternatively, if early mornings are not your scene, you could cater exclusively for weddings and parties.

There are many other ways to start a home business and make money working from home. You could become a writer or proof-reader, look after and babysit children, offer cleaning services, distribute leaflets and door drops or even provide massages from home! As you can see, the possibilities are endless but be careful as there are a lot of con artists out there ready to take your money and give you a useless idea in return.

Bear in mind that it can take at least 3 years to start making good money from a home business. Do not expect miracles in year one. If in the first year you can cover your costs and take out a small wage, you are doing well.
