So how important is business mentoring? Very important. The thing that always surprises me in business is how many people try to start a business with no experience or business mentoring. So many people join a homebased business with no business skills what so ever and expect to become rich over night. Is it possible to become rich overnight with no business mentoring? I personally have never heard of anyone becoming rich overnight unless they won the lotto or something like that. The reason why so many businesses fail is because the business owners have no clue what they are doing. Normally most people sign up for a business, try to sell to their warm market and if they are lucky they may make a decent income. Most do not. And normally the ones who do make a decent income blow the cash on cars and other junk, instead of reinvesting the profits back into the business.
Quality business mentoring is the solution for business owners with no previous experience. And I am not talking about self proclaimed guru's. I am talking about true business mentoring. Think about this, if your child were to come up to you and tell you he or she wanted to be a doctor? What would you tell them? I'm assuming you would tell them to go to college and train to become a doctor. The same goes with starting a business you have to train yourself to develop a whole new skill set.And what's better than having a business mentor. Nothing!
So before you start your next home based business look into getting quality business training. It can only help you in your future businesses. Jumping ship from business to business will not work. There is a saying that goes something like this " Give a man fish and you feed him for a day, Teach a man how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime". So remember finding a business mentor is invaluable.
