o charter bus(greyhound) drivers get any special customer relations training with their certification.? i fully understand that is a stressfull job but I would imagine they know this when they take this job. I wish I had a video of my last trip. I have just paid 235.00 for a rt. ticket from fla. to ms. Can't wait to reunite with my best friend from high school . My first driver I assumed had a bad night and I am willing to overlook her attitude and not judge the company by one employee who did'nt act like she felt good or nice. But when the second driver presented herself in almost a mirror image well It really started to bother me and the other passengers around me. Her introduction consisted of "I am your driver these are the rules of this coach , then the basic speach about being courtious to the other passengers. But then she added her own little twist that sounded alot like the last driver....I don't want to hear you up here and they don't want to hear you back there and if i do I will put you off the bus. Well I was very shocked at her attitude, like she knew we were going to give her a bad time. She heard someone grumble in a low voice about her presentation and flat out said on the loud speaker " DID YOU HEAR ME ? I WILL STOP THIS BUS AND YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF WALKING AND IF YOU THINK I'M KIDDING SPEAK AGAIN. wE HAD NOT EVEN LEFT THE PARKINGLOT YET. tHAT ATTITUDE CONTINUED ALL THE WAY TO MISSISSIPPI AND i DON;T RECALL ANYONE EVEN HOLDING A CONVERSATION ON ANY OF THE BUSSES i WAS ON. i DID NOT HAVE A NICE DRIVER TILL THE VERY LAST ONE ON MY WAY BACK AND i VERY MUCH APPREATIATED HER SWEET AND CARING CUSTOMER RELATIONS. i' UNDERSTAND ONE BAD APPLE BUT ONLY ONE GOOD ONE OUT OF 6, SOMETHINGS NOT RITE.
