Canon Copiers are an authorised Canon photocopier supplier. Visit the website for more information on ImageRUNNER ADVANCE Photocopiers released by Canon
The imageRUNNER ADVANCE photocopier range completes Canon's portfolio, allowing them to offer customers a wide choice of different size devices, all with the latest technology included. The imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5000 series, C7000 series and C9070 PRO offer advanced workgroup, departmental and light production printing. With impressive existing models such as the, iRC1021i, LBP range and imagePRESS range, there is now a full spectrum of highly powerful Canon photocopiers and printers for businesses to choose from, from personal printers, to workgroup multifunctional devices, to department full colour photocopiers and full production printers.
ImageRUNNER ADVANCE photocopiers are ground-breaking devices, incorporating the world's first high-grade fire retardant bio plastic made from plant derived organic resources. Each one of the new imageRUNNER ADVANCE photocopiers is delivered network ready with basic send features as standard (the I part of the model name is no longer related to i-send but refers to printer languages and controller options available).
What other functionality do the imageRUNNER ADVANCE series have to offer?
Accessibility and Personalisation
Touch screens on the Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5030/i, C5035/i, C5045/i, C5051/i models are adjustable and can be tilted forward, allowing them to be viewed at different angles according to the user's needs.
Paper paths are positioned on the right hand side of these photocopiers, allowing the inside of the photocopier to be accessed easily and jammed paper to be removed simply.
Settings on the new photocopiers can be personalised, such as short cuts to certain job settings being saved to a particular user. This has the power to speed up workflow and make printing easier and more accessible to each user. With the ability to store workflows, time taken to complete complicated tasks can be reduced and, as these can be saved and made available to workgroups or departments, users can easily perform such tasks with very little training.
Integration with Microsoft and Adobe
The Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE Series includes the latest Office Open XML. This allows scanned documents to be easily accessed and the content such as text and images to be cut and used by other applications or combined with existing documents. These photocopiers also include Adobe Reader Extensions, allowing powerful Adobe integration without the need to purchase extra licenses. Documents can therefore be shared and reviewed electronically rather than using paper-based workflows.
Security
The imageRUNNER ADVANCE photocopiers have also succeeded in including advanced levels of security. Adobe Rights Management integration increases document security by allowing the setting up of certain policies such as viewing restrictions, print restrictions, change restrictions, copy restrictions and validity control. Embedded card readers allow logins or other user authorisations to be easily set up and documents can be secured when scanned or sent so that only authorised users can view them. Hard disks are especially easy to remove for temporary offsite storage. The imageRUNNER ADVANCE models can also be configured with dual hard disks which enables data encryption and disk drive mirroring. For extra security Canon's Hard Disk Data Erase Kit will ensure that no traces of of any temporary data or or deleted documents remain accessible on the hard drive.
Environment
Canon will always strive to be as environmentally responsible as possible and the entire imageRUNNER ADVANCE range conforms to major international environmental compliance such as Energy Star and ROHS. With lower energy consumption, 30-50% lower CO2 emissions and the use of bio-plastics and recycled materials, the imageRUNNER ADVANCE series is Canon's most environmentally friendly range yet.
