DATELINE: COHASSET AND PLYMOUTH, MASS…

South Shore Skin Center, a leading cosmetic dermatology office treating a vast clientele south of Boston, recently announced they now offer the innovative Fraxel re:pair laser technology to improve the skin’s appearance.

South Shore Skin Center is the only provider in the area offering the advanced technology of Fraxel re:pair laser treatments in addition to Fraxel re:store laser treatments. Dr. Richard Eisen, a board certified dermatologist at South Shore Skin Center is a leading expert in lasers, in particular, the Fraxel re:pair and Fraxel re:store laser systems.

Fraxel re:pair laser uses the technology of a fractionated laser beam to ablate the tissue deep within the dermis to improve the skin’s appearance. Fraxel re:pair is designed to target aging and damaged skin, stimulating the body’s natural production of new collagen and skin cells. Fraxel re:pair provides Fractional Deep Dermal Ablation (FDDA™). The effects are similar to a succession of traditional laser treatments, but with less risk. Additionally, patients obtain results with far less down time than with traditional CO2 lasers or surgical procedures.

Fraxel re:pair is ideal for resurfacing soft tissues; improving pigmentation; eliminating redness and broken blood vessels and smoothing wrinkles or (“crow’s feet) around the eyes.

Fraxel re:store, which is also available at South Shore Skin Center, is best for general resurfacing on the face, neck, chest and hands. It effectively treats a number of skin conditions and also reduces the appearance of acne scarring and surgical scars.

Both Fraxel re:pair and Fraxel re:store laser treatments have been approved by the FDA to treat a variety of cosmetic conditions.

“Fraxel re:pair is a safe, non-invasive treatment for improving the skin’s appearance with very little down time,” explained Dr. Richard Eisen and Dr. Ramzi Saad, dermatologists at South Shore Skin Center.

For more information, contact South Shore Skin Center’s Cohasset (781) 383-3340 or Plymouth office (508) 747-0711.
