MYTH: Manufactured homes are not well-made.

FACT: You are promised unsurpassed construction, because all manufactured homes sold since 1976 must meet the specific durability specifications of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The department's code requires the most rigid standards in every phase of the construction process and its requirements are comparable to the Standard\ Building Code for traditionally-built homes. Also, all manufacturers have their own quality assurance rules, and every home's design and construction is inspected and approved by an independent outside source.

MYTH: Manufactured homes are not safe.

FACT: Your Montana manufactured home is constructed to withstand even gale-force winds. As for fire, a published insurance industry study discovered that the risk of fire in a site-built home is twice that of today's manufactured home. Thanks to controlled building codes, quality inspection requirement and the local anchoring codes, a North Dakota mobile house may be the best house anyone can find.

MYTH: Mobile houses are impossible to get financed.

FACT: Getting a loan for a mobile house is no more challenginf than lending for any normal house. Conventional loans are easily found. Conventional, VA, FHA and other loan programs, with terms of up to 30 years, are available when a mobile house is financed as real property. Banks are active in financing mobile houses because research demonstrate that the appreciation of manufactured qwellings is equal to the appreciation of traditionally-built houses.

MYTH: Modular houses are not attractive.

FACT: Seeing is believing, so step inside and you'll enjoy all the splendor and comfort the public demand in a high-quality home. There's a spacious, stylish and beautiful mobile house for every want, financial situation and lifestyle. Whatever you want in your next house, you can find it in a modular house!
