My First Fine Thai Date

The first date that I ever paid for was my first date ever with my first girlfriend. We went to a Thai restaurant, the best Thai restaurant in LA, one of those fine dining restaurants in LA that offered authentic dishes you can only possibly taste in Thailand. We could’ve had the Thai food delivered to our place, but this was, after all, my first date with my first girlfriend, so I wanted it to be classy and romantic, and having Thai food delivery from this high-end LA restaurant didn’t sound too special. She told me she hasn’t tried Thai cuisine in LA yet, so I searched the fine dining pages and found one near our place and decided to go there later that week.

My girlfriend was so excited when I told her about our Thai fine dining plans. She was so excited, we rushed to the restaurant and sat around our table she just had to make the orders for us. The restaurant made a great effort to make our Thai fine dining experience to be as authentic as possible, with Asian furnishings and cutlery, and a largely Asian staff and, as we found out later, an Asian chef. The service was pleasantly fast, and the food was surprisingly good, and it was a great revelation to me that I actually appreciate spicy food.

We went across the course of authentic Thai fine dining cuisine, from Tom Yum Soup and Lemon Grass Rice with servings of Pad Thai and Nam Prik, which was this spicy chili paste served with vegetables. The servings were great, good enough for two, and we ate everything in between talking, and afterwards we ordered some Thai wine and drank to our fill in the romantic candle light.

As we were about to go home, I asked the staff how they prepared the food and my girlfriend and I were then allowed to tour the restaurant’s kitchen, and found all sorts of spices and ingredients that either made my mouth water or made my eyes sting. They use a lot of fish paste and shrimp paste, and curry powder that’s actually green. And I never saw so many rice cookers in my life, all steaming and cooking at the same time. My girlfriend and I were then treated to some pandan-flavored noodles in coconut milk.

My girlfriend and I went home with full stomachs and big smiles on our faces smelling of exotic spices and cooked rice and it was the happiest night of my life. I’ll never forget that night that we ate at what we thought was the best restaurant in LA. That wasn’t just a fine dining restaurant in LA. That was really a very memorable very enjoyable very eye-opening night, one that I’ll never forget.

Many writers aspire to create original and incomparable works, so that to stand them out of heaps of previously written stuff. They resort to crafty tricks to grab the attention of readers and eagerly try to find an unoccupied niche, undeveloped idea or some lurid news to make their papers one of a kind. Catchy titles, simple and persuasive language, personal apply to the reader and intricate plot are only some clever dodges authors harness in writing

The Importance of the Playground

By: Andrew Beene | 17/11/2009 | Accessories
Many people including myself strongly believe that play time is integral for the primary formation of the skills and attitudes as well as cognitive development during the formative years of a child or a toddler. If you study nature closely, you will find that most if not all mammal neonates and developing young develop and reinforce their skills and techniques for later use in life during playtime with a sibling or a similarly aged peer in an animal group or collection.

Moving Effortlessly to Baltimore

A bible passage from Ecclesiastes says, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven.” True enough, even moving and changing homes and neighborhoods has its own season. For people who live in Baltimore, Maryland, the peak season for moving is summer.

My first renovation project was the bathroom. Bathroom remodeling in MD is highly regarded by handymen since most residents are more likely to buy a house with a beautiful, spacious and clean bathroom. Next was our kitchen and the bedrooms came as finale.

Unconventional Painters in Bay Area

Gone are the days when house painting in Bay Area concentrated on neutral colors like gray, white, tan or beige. In this time and age, a San Francisco Bay Area painting contractor is more experimental and applies out-of-the-box thinking when approaching big painting projects in Alameda County, or residential painting in Contra Costa County.

Landscaping in Ohio for a Reason

Today is one of those rare occasions I have to stay home and look after an activity which I would consider greater in magnitude than a month’s pay resulting from office labor. Coming up with a landscape design for my Ohio abode is comparatively more difficult than convincing a client that OpenOffice is far better than Microsoft Word.
