Next Generation Mobile Phone - the Iphone

When there are hundreds of people queuing outside a store, some even during the night, there must be something special going on - the premier of a Hollywood Blockbuster perhaps? Far from this - it is just a mobile phone - the brand new iPhone. Lets see what the hype is about...

On June 29th 2007 Apple launched its iPhone in the US, which they are offering in cooperation with mobile phone group AT&T Wireless.
Taking a more detailed look at the new gadget it becomes clear that the times where a phone was supposed to work as a "mobile phone" - are definitely over. The iPhone additionally includes the functions of an iPod-video-player, a camera and it even has access to the internet. So, what else do you want?

The iPhone has a total of only four buttons, the rest is navigated via touch screen, where you can choose either a digital number keypad or a letter keypad. It is yet another technical design masterpiece from Apple.

With around 500,000 sold items on the first weekend Apple's expectations were exceeded tremendously. Now, everyone is waiting in tension for the release in the UK. Guess there will be some geeks queuing the night in front of Apple's flagship store on Regents Street.

We love it and can't wait for it to come out in the UK!
