One key is to put your websites name in the blog’s name. This will help to create backlinks that will optimize search engine traffic to your parent website. Second, if you are ready to embark on search engine optimizing techniques it’s important to research the keywords that are important to your niche and create a list. Now, write an article wrapped around your keyword and target 500 – 700 words. It doesn’t have to be Shakespeare but make sure it is good enough to grab someone’s attention. And, the most important thing is to make sure that you put your “author’s bio” in the article with information on how to get to your website. If you do three articles per day for thirty days straight you’ll be amazed at how much organic traffic you get. The third technique in your search engine optimizing arsenal is to start a Squidoo lens which is a great web 2.0 technique for driving traffic. Make sure you name your lens something that corresponds with your niche. And, make sure you spend time making your lens something that others would want to read! Put your articles on there, put your picture on there and make sure you have links pointing back to your main website. By the way, search engines LOVE Squidoo and most web 2.0 content so make sure you spend time doing this very simple, and potentially profitable technique. And that’s it!
